Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Examination Preparation Workshop

The Builders’ Association is hosting a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) workshop presented by SPAN™ International Training. The intended purpose of the CIH examination is to ensure that professionals working in the field have skills and knowledge that are considered important in the practice of industrial hygiene. The examination is comprehensive and rigorous. The average passing rate for a recent five-year period is approximately 49%. We feel that a significant contributing factor to the passing rate is that examinees do not fully recognize the comprehensive nature and complexity of test, and accordingly spend valuable time searching for resources and attempting to identify the critical concepts for study. The SPAN workshop, workbooks, and CertBOK® offer focused resources and examination style practice with thorough explanations that increase the efficiency of the examination preparation process. The workshop and material address concepts from the examination blueprint. The material will be presented as lecture, discussion, and self-directed learning via problem solving.

The SPAN workshop materials include: a two-volume set of workbooks, calculator, notepad, pencil, pen, highlighter and a six-month membership to the exam prep online learning management system, CertBok®. Your six-month access to the CertBok membership is activated upon registration, however, you may delay your membership activation by contacting us. Your workbooks, calculator and other workshop supplies will be given to you at the workshop. (Workbooks and CertBok membership are a $400 value!)
