ASSP and the Heart of America Chapter are supporting Safe + Sound Week running August 15-21.
This annual event recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs, and businesses across the nation are encouraged to participate. If you’re not familiar with this campaign, please check out the website and consider participating.
Please consider registering your company and participating. (Missouri and Kansas are trailing the other Chapters in our Region.)
As a way to promote Safe + Sound Week, the HOA Chapter is having a drawing for members who submit an answer to, “Why did you become a safety professional?”
Please submit responses to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “S+S submission”.
The winner will be notified at the conclusion of S+S Week and awarded a $50 Amazon gift card, and their submission will be highlighted in our September newsletter.
