Mark Carlson, Senior Safety Manager

Mark Carlson started as an electrical apprentice 26 years ago and received his Journeyman’s license 3-½ years later. He moved into a safety role about 22 years ago and has helped in the development of safe work practices for FTI employees.

Kyle Lang, Safety Director for Faith Technologies, Inc.

Kyle Lang graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Safety Management at Pittsburg State University. He started his career with the Kansas Department of Labor and then transitioned to FTI in 2018. His main focus areas are maintaining and building a stronger culture, driving safety and health best practices and initiatives, and supporting their field leadership where necessary.

Tour Excellerate Plant

Come on a tour after the meeting to see FTI’s approach on “Industrialized Construction,” where they partner with strategic clients on engineering and design for their projects to deliver modular and skidded solutions to their teams in the field. Through this approach they are able to focus on eliminating high risk activities and taking those unsafe hours off their construction projects into a more controlled environment.

NOTE: Please bring your own PPE. They will have some PPE available but not enough for everyone. Safety glasses, gloves, safety toe shoes, if possible.
