A Message from Taylor
Dear ASSP Donor,
My name is Taylor Cummings. I’m originally from the Kansas City, MO area and recently graduated with a degree in Safety Management from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. While at Pittsburg State, I served as the president of our local ASSP student chapter and plan to remain actively involved in the safety community as I move forward in my career. After graduation, I accepted a position with Turner Construction as an onsite safety professional in Monroe, LA.
I’m incredibly grateful to have been selected as a recipient of your scholarship. Your generous support is helping me manage my college debt and begin my professional journey with greater peace of mind. I also want to sincerely thank you for your continued support of the safety profession. As a young professional entering the field, I’ve noticed how easy it can be for some to overlook the value of a career in safety due to existing stigmas. However, people and organizations like yours make it clear that this is a community built on care, purpose, and impact.
Your investment in future safety leaders like me truly makes a difference. Thank you again for your generosity and for strengthening the safety community.
Sincerely,
Taylor Cummings
