Topic Risk Management Techniques and Considerations for Employers with a Driving Exposure

Darren will touch on a variety of risks and controls for safety professionals who have a vehicle exposure.  Just because a company doesn’t have a fleet of trucks doesn’t make it immune to having an automotive risk . . . even a sales person driving their own car can present an exposure for the company.

Kristin Danner, Acting Manager, Corporate Safety/Risk Management Division, City of Kansas City

Kristin will present key elements and results of a successful driver safety initiative at the City of Kansas City.

Following the presentation, attendees will have access to the Zoo.  (The Zoo has offered complimentary admission to families of members, if the spouse/children want to eat with the ASSP group and then tour during the presentation).

The caterer is needing a headcount by 10/14, so please register to ensure an appropriate amount of food (including family members).  Online registration will close at noon on 10/14.

Use one of the parking lots near the main entrance to the building, and look for ASSP signs.  Parking is free.

The Heart of America Chapter of ASSP will be participating in the Toys for Tots campaign this year as our charity project.  We will be collecting unwrapped toys beginning at our October 21st meeting and ending at our December 5th meeting.  The toy barrel will hold 50 toys.  Our goal is to fill this barrel up.   Let’s Do This!!!
